Marc Lacasse Founder & President Virtual card
Rose Lacasse Resellers · outside Québec Virtual card “Go Rampe was born in my heart and mind. I was immensely grateful for the second chance life gave me.”
Marc Lacasse — Founder & PresidentOn the morning of a beautiful spring day meant for a family ski trip, Marc Lacasse suffered a severe stroke that left him unable to speak and paralyzed on his left side. Overnight, his life had been turned upside down.
That sudden shock thankfully turned into a blessing: just 12 hours after being admitted to emergency, everything returned to normal. Being alongside the care staff and seeing them make a positive difference in people’s lives left a deep mark — values of mutual aid he has carried since childhood.
That event gave him the drive to contribute concretely to a better life for people with disabilities. Surrounded by people who share the same values, Go Rampe has grown over time into the company it is today — with every team member playing a unique role.
Our mission: to make homes and workplaces accessible to people with reduced mobility, so they no longer face the frustration of limits in their movements and activities.
The company was founded in 2013. The founder, having suffered a stroke that left him temporarily hemiplegic and aphasic, became aware of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
